Fox Valley Sinbad
(Sofa)
Sire: Ladbrook Aristocrat 45702
Dam: Hainton Nicola 141821 by Bellasize Majestic 45751
1990 English Shire Stallion 45702
This outstanding stallion is the son of Ladbrook Aristocrat,
who captured the title champion at the National Shires Show
in England 3 times in a row. He also sired some of the
finest Shires to be found in all of England.
Sinbad (SOFA) has a nice presence with clean
limbs and joints. He is a little lighter in bone with
exceptional conformation which makes him a perfect candidate
for cross breeding. He is also ideal for cleaning up coarse
mares. He passes down not only his bone and beauty but
brains as well.
The Shire Horse
For hundreds of years the
Shire horse has been working with the man in close harmony.
It is the tallest of the modern draught breeds. The Shire
can be black, brown, and bay with only 3 percent being grey.
One of its distinctive features is long hair (commonly
white) on the lower parts of its legs. Another cute feature
is their curly/Q mustaches. A stallion may stand 18 hands
high or more and weigh a ton plus. The Shire has served man
at work and war, as a proud symbol of mans heritage. It now
faces a new dawn of challenge and achievement.
